  • Launcher Competition.  Finals during home room on 1/7.

Launcher Competition Info:

  • Launchers will be fired from 0.75m2 platforms, 31.5cm from the floor.
  • Targets will be 6 sap buckets, 31.5cm tall, with 23.5cm diameter openings.
  • The competition will last 2 minutes.  The winner will be any of the following:
    •  The First team to land marbles in all 6 sap buckets wins.
    • The winner is the team landing the most marbles in sap buckets before time is called.
    • If both teams score the same number of buckets during the 2 minutes, the first team to score the last bucket wins.   
  • Each team starts with one dozen marbles.  Marbles landing in buckets must be left in buckets.  Marbles that miss may be retrieved for reuse.

“Second Chance” grading opportunity:  If your first round competition score (based on the scale below) is better than your accuracy grade (from earlier testing), you may substitute your competition score for your accuracy grade.

  • 6 buckets = 100%
  • 5 buckets = A+
  • 4 buckets = A
  • 3 buckets = B
  • 2 buckets = C
  • 1 bucket = D
